Maintenance Technician

Chief Operating Officer
We’re recruiting the new Chief Operating Officer to head up the operations for Quiet Company and to help us run our award-winning and sustainable operations in London and Cumbria. You will work with a talented and diverse team at Friends House, our London venue, and Swarthmoor Hall, our Cumbria property. You will also be involved with programmes helping disenfranchised groups.

This is very much a 360 job where your dynamism, leadership and lived experience will be crucial. From dealing with the oversight of service delivery, to increasing conference sales, to managing a historic house, you will work with a variety of people in and outside the company.

Your goal will also be to bring back the company to the £5 million business it was before the pandemic. There is much to do, and we need someone who has experience in running large operations in the hospitality or events industry.

If you are creative, financially sound, have a great track record, are not scared of challenges with an extensive experience in top management positions, we want to hear from you. And if on top of that you have a good understanding of sustainable practices in our industry and know this is the way forward, we want you to apply.

Please note, this role is based in London, with some trips to Cumbria.
