We operate a conference, events and catering business at Friends House (London) and oversee the running of Swarthmoor Hall (Cumbria), and facilities on both sites on behalf of Britain Yearly Meeting (Quakers), a registered charity. At Friends House, we also run Bake the Difference, a social enterprise programme in conjunction with London Pathways Partnership.
Our brands and managed services reflect our ethos and values. They all serve the same purpose: raising income for the charity of Quakers in Britain so that Quakers can continue their work on peace, economic and social justice, and climate change in the United-Kingdom and abroad.
Friends House is our award-winning venue, located in Euston, London. From meetings for 10 to conferences for 1,000 delegates, you are sure to find a space to suit your event needs.
Bake the Difference is our programme helping ex-offenders integrate back into society. Participants learn practical and theoretical cooking and baking skills.
Our Facilities Services team operates from London and is in charge of maintaining Friends House, Swarthmoor Hall and a few other Quaker properties across the country. They make our venues welcoming and safe for all.
Swarthmoor Hall is the cradle of Quakerism. Our beautiful site is located in Cumbria and offers a range of spiritual activities, with the convenience of on-site accommodation and a café.
